Wall ball depth judge
Film from the side. Every rep where your hip drops below your knee counts. Anything higher is a no-rep. Video stays on your device.
no-reps
- Whole body in frame, about 3 m away
- Side-on to the camera
- Standing tall
- Put your phone at hip height, about 3 m away, with your whole body in frame.
- Start each set standing tall so the judge can calibrate.
- Only one person should be in the shot.
Too Many No-Reps? Here's How to Fix Them.
Place a box or bench just below knee height behind you and touch it on every rep until hitting depth feels automatic.
Hold it at your chin with your elbows under the ball. A ball that drifts forward pulls you onto your toes and cuts your squat short.
Use your legs to launch the ball, not your arms. A strong hip drive saves your shoulders for the last 25 reps.
Plan sets of 10 to 20 with short, planned rests. Going unbroken until failure is when form, and depth, falls apart.
Practise wall balls straight after running or lunges, so your depth holds up when it matters.
